Hey my name is Arthur
I’m interested in film. I’m 61 years old and debating film school. Pros, it would be awesome to be around young people who are optimistic and unscarred. Plus at this point I wouldn’t know a camera from a colostomy bag, so I would definitely be educated.
Cons, the debt load is crushing. It would be like taking on a second mortgage. Not sure if I want to do that. There are other issues too
As much as I’m into film, it’s not an all consuming intense passion. From what I’ve read about people who go to film school these kids are obsessed by film. They eat breathe and live film. I’m not sure if I’m ready to join the cult yet.
That’s why I joined this club. I thought it would be a good idea to be in the company of regular people with day jobs who are fans
